Well, first of all, I do not like going back home and logging in to the blog account to upload the video and stills from it. It takes time, and I tend to forget doing it. It ends up being in the digital shoe box in a way.
I don't like being like that, it is good to be able to share the recorded memories to people who were there as well as with my close friends and family. I guess, I am not the type who organizes a "slide show" party to tell tell my vacation stories.
So, in that sense, InstantSharecam seemed to provide me a great solution to swap memories right on the spot without any time consuming set-ups. I could decide to share or not share right at the moment I am capturing.
-What was particularly useful?
The buddy locator, definitely. It avoided us to use lots of roam calling to check on each others whereabouts. We saw each other location on the map, as well as, we could sort of experience what others were doing (the group of four friends went on different directions of neighborhood to follow their personal flavors of sightseeing). Before, we had to more or less convene certain time, and use lots of mobile call as we tend to not fix exact time and location.
- Did you use extra service by the local cameraman?
Yes actually we did. You know how you can never be on the pictures if you are cameraman? Well, the extra service provided us few clips with us on it. That was great, but it was I guess a chance finding. So, I recommend you to improve on that part. I noted and marked the cctv shots on James by chance. Anyway, it is good to get another perspective of the event from different point of views.
The fact that I can ask to these pro-cameraman to have our snapshot, it was kind a cool. It is as if you were having your personal videographer outside your wedding day.
